What are memory lamps?

Memory lamps are beautiful glass shaded lamps given in remembrance of important events in someone’s life. Some examples are Bereavement, Birthdays, Anniversary, Weddings, New Babies, Christening, Retirement, Christmas, House Warming gift, etc.

Why a memory lamp?

The beauty, longevity and comfort that our lamps provide far exceed any perishable gift. Accompanying our lamps is a highly personalized card created for the recipient at the time of purchase.

Are these memory lamps expensive?

We find that in most cases, our lamps are no more expensive than flowers (and they last a lot longer). We have about 300 styles of lamps in stock.

Do I have to order these lamps?

We have thousands of lamps in stock so if you see it on our website we should have it in stock. Any lamp you see in our West Springfield store is in stock. On some occasions, if you want a sports lamp of a team that is not regional, we may have to special order it.

Do you have a brick-and-mortar store location?

Yes, we have a store located at 138 Memorial Avenue, West Springfield, MA 01089.

Do you sell items other than memory lamps?

Yes, we also sell music boxes, picture frames and memory boxes.

Do you deliver and/or ship these lamps?

We do both! If the destination is within our delivery radius (approximately 20 miles) we will deliver it for a fee (based on the distance we have to drive.) We ship everywhere else.

How much does it cost to ship a lamp?

That cost is determined by current UPS/USPS rates and is based on the size and weight of the box along with the distance to the destination.

What if the lamp arrives broken?

If Memory Lane Lamps packages the lamp for shipment, we accept all responsibility for replacing any broken lamp. All lamps are double boxed with the appropriate amount of packing which minimizes the chance of it arriving broken.

How long does its take to deliver a lamp locally (within 20 miles)?

We try to make all local deliveries on the next business day especially those going to Western Massachusetts funeral homes - weather permitting.

How long does it take to ship a lamp out of the Western Massachusetts delivery area?

We try to ship all lamps via mail or UPS on the next business day. Standard mail and UPS delivery schedules apply. Orders received after store closing hours (5 PM Eastern Standard Time) will be processed on the next available business day - weather permitting.
